Works for me. So, a question about it. Need to know whether it will cross my wife Amy's threshold for violence. She's a bit pickier than me in that category. Violence as a the only (or a major) subject, or violence glorified, even if it's a great movie, she doesn't like. Violence as a necessary part of some other or greater plot / message, she's OK with.
She liked, for example, The Usual Suspects, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, Inside Man, and Mystic River, all of which I liked too.
She didn't like, for example, Clockwork Orange or just about anything by Quentin Tarantino, all of which I liked. I can't even subject her to Silence of the Lambs, even though I consider it a classic, because it crosses the line of glorifying violence.
Any idea whether she'll regret this one? (Don't worry, I won't hold you to it. Just curious.)

No, this movie is certainly has no unnecessary violence... In fact, that's one of the great things about this movie, it can still shock you without being particularly gross. (i.e. no scenes of vin rhames getting...).
I hope that helps. If she feels differently after seeing the movie, you can blame me. :)
