 If you work, have children or interact with groups of people then it's likely at some time in your day you will be attempting leadership. There are loads of different definitions on leadership but I think they all boil down to creating an environment of passion and purpose  for the family, group or team your trying to lead.

 

Interestingly I find that people tend to comment more about children or young adults when they refer to examples of passion. With comments like "the new graduates are always really passionate to get stuck in"

 

So why is this?

 

Well the reason is the secret ingredient to create passion is .....................

Well this topic seems to be entering into my life quite a lot at the moment. I noticed I didn't have it when I was trying to persuade my daughter not to do something the other day, it was the subject at the NLP group I attend, and it popped into my conversation when a colleague of mine said

 

"There is just something about them that make me feel uneasy" 

 

Peter Thompson suggest that with this YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING and the other person will TRULY LISTEN without offense to what you've said.
