Thanks for pointing me to Hush. I love it. Not at all vocal hash, more voice as sound instrument. Serendipitously, I actually am familiar with a lot of the music. After 20 years of, one, being too poor during and after college to afford one and, two, moving every three years thereafter and not being able to afford the weight, I've finally gotten myself a piano. And one of the books I got to practice with has a lot of the Anna Magdalena Bach pieces. AND Ave Maria. : )

Remember when you sent me that picture of my face mixed in with the heads on Easter Island? That was sooo funny. I still laugh about that. Say, you wouldn't happen to still have a copy of it, would you? I could use it for my scrapbooking hobby. Ok, I'm lying. I don't scrapbook. But I would love to have the picture to share with the children I'll never have at the rate I'm going.

Thank you so much for your compliment! And thanks fo the tip too. I think part of the sound was just that its a roguh recording i did on my computer, haha, how i wish i had my own home recording studio. i uploaded it for you, but i think im going to re record it, i can do better. the pacing if kind of off, after further research, i've found a couple of my lyrics are incorrect, and i just feel like i could add more to it. i was rushed to put it on a demo, but i can really dedicate sometime to it now. anyhow, have you listened to my other covers? they're hidden in all of my posts, if you'd like to hear more just let me know!

BTW, to respond to a comment all you need to do is leave another comment on the same post.  It might not be in order, i.e. people might have to skip back to find the comment you're replying to, but they'll get it.  While I wish we had 300 comments per post, we're still a small world.  :)

Actually, that wasn't a definition so much as a cultural reference and explanation - I linked to it because it confirms that 1. you weren't alone in the use of the word, far from it, and 2. torah isn't alone in her feelings about it, far from it.  Beyond that, everyone can come to their own conclusions.  Being in the middle of a political debate between a friend and a family member is a bad place to be, and you won't find me there.  I've got too much to think about already.
