If your recording sounds too soft or faint in your Podcast, try increasing the microphone level in the Producer Mixer. 
 
Additionally many microphones have an input level adjustment that can be increased.  Look for a volume control on your microphone or on the headset cable.
 
Finally, check your PC’s sound card for a microphone boost setting (Control Panel->Sounds and Audio Devices->Volume Tab->Device Setting’s Advanced Button->Set Microphone level and set any advanced microphone settings such as microphone boost.
