The best way to make a Podcast is to use a headset with a microphone or a microphone with headphones. This will give you the best sound quality. If you use your computer speakers while recording, your microphone pick up the sound from your speakers and you will hear an echo (or worse, a feedback screech to make Jimi Hendrix proud). Using a headphone or headset (or even ear-buds from your MP3 player) will prevent the echo and feedback. You can also turn off your speakers if you don’t have a headset handy.

Many good computer headsets are available inexpensively. Many people already have computer headsets since they are often used in for Internet phone calls and online gaming. Any of these headsets you use on your computer today will work with WildVoice Studio.

We have tested a number of headsets and found most to have excellent performance.  We also recommend models that have noise cancellation capability.
