The WildVoice Newsletter - Volume 1
Friday, July 14, 2006
Hey Folks,
We have a bunch of news at
WildVoice.com.
Since the public unveiling of WildVoice about a month ago,
we've been working to bring you the best possible Podcast
recording and personal media broadcasting experience.
We've recently updated WildVoice.com and WildVoice Studio
so we wanted to share with you some of the new updates.
New features on WildVoice.com
Over the past couple of weeks there have been a number of
updates that we hope you enjoy. Our goal has been to make
the site easier to navigate, easier to use, and easier to
post.
-
Our new "WildVoice Shout" feature gives you a
web recorder that let's you quickly and easily record audio
comments and Podcasts.

If you don't have the time, or you
don't need the full capabilities of WildVoice Studio, you
can still make and post audio recordings using the web
recorder.
-
Site navigation is simplified and
improved. New features like the page tabs should help you
see where you are. Our new user dashboard:

will give you
quick access to Record new shows in your
spotlight channel, Write new posts in
your journal, and Go to your site to
manage your home page.
-
Don't forget the earlier updates like Audio Comments,
Bubble comments, images in comments, and more...
-
And we've cleaned and simplified many of the site pages,
so it should be easier to record, create, and share.
New version of WildVoice Studio
We've updated our Beta 2 version of WildVoice Studio.
(The new version is called 710). If you haven't yet
installed WildVoice Studio, this is a great time
to try it. Just
download and install.
If you're already using WildVoice Studio, please uninstall
it before you install the new version.
What's new in WildVoice Studio? Version 710 includes
some new features and a bunch of fixes.
Our new Dynamic Recording
will help even out your recording volume.
-
You can select your hardware inputs, so you can
record from Microphone or Line-in.
 -
We've improved the sound quality
on clip preview.
-
We've simplified clip management,
so deleting clips that you don't need is easier.
-
We've added a great new feature that we call
"don't crash on startup".
Thanks to the feedback from our beta users we found
that some types of computer sound cards were causing
the previous version of WildVoice Studio to freeze
on start up. If you had trouble starting the program
and gave up, please try the new version.
-
We've fixed up a bunch of the bugs and annoyances
you've been putting up with.
Thanks to our Beta Users
You've all been great, and we want to say thank you.
We've learned so much this past month, and believe me,
we listen to your comments. So please, keep posting
your comments in the
forums
or send us email at support@WildVoice.com.
Oh, and the most important thing - TELL EVERYONE that you know about WildVoice! Friends, family, co-workers, strangers on the street. Promote your page and encourage people to sign up and make it more fun!
Thanks,
Michael Levy http://www.wildvoice.com/ |
